time stretch pitch shifting!

I used to have an option when i ctrl+draged events, under properties, to pitch shift my stretch or just do "classic" where it keeps the correct pitch as best it can. Now, I only have the "classic" option - or none...but I want it to pitch shift the audio track too sometimes...so how can i get that option back??

I got 5.0a - does b put it back in there? haha.

Jeez, you're right. This does seem like a step backward.

I have 5.0b, and of course it's the same as 5.0a. Don't sell your copy of Vegas 4 yet.

In Vegas 5, you can use the + or - key to pitch shift the selected event(s) by step, ctrl plus + or - for fine pitch correction.

Alternatively, you can select Event>Right Click>Properties>Pitch change: "lock to stretch" if you want to drag/stretch and change pitch.

I'm glad to see there's still a way to change pitch!

But I think there should be a way to set this in the Properties dialog as well. The old way was just fine.
