Another quirky one for today.
I have a Rendered Audio file of 6.8 seconds in length, with embedded Markers. I Ctrl+stretch this EVENT, say by 0.182 seconds, and then use the Promote Marker script. Is it wrong for me to assume that the Promoted Markers would be aligned with the embedded ones? Where in actual fact they aren't. And they are misaligned by 0.039 at the 6.8 second maker - meaning the embed is some 0.039 later than its Promoted Marker.
So, I am having to correct my thinking: Promote Markers ignores the Ctrl+stretch of the embedded marker position and stays/sticks with the original and retains, notes, uses ONLY the original embedded marker position info. And if that is the case then would we like it to be otherwise?
