Time stretching in Movie Studio 17?

Hello, I"m running Movie Studio 13 and I'm due for an upgrade. One of the limiting things on v13 for me is that I can only time stretch 4x in either direction. I am wondering if the new version 17 still has that limitation.

@gary-beckwith AFAIK, the limitation of 4x still exists. You could stretch to maximum, render, then stretch again, ad infinitum.

yes that is what I currently do with v13 but it is a pain in the arse. I don't see what would be so difficult to enable at least the compression to a higher degree. all it needs to do is skip some frames. time lapse.
