Wierd one this, due to some very odd fault in DSR PD250 I've got five DV tapes and only the first one has reliable TC. The rest of the tapes have TC only about 5% of the time. They've still captured OK but I'm now a bit worried abou how Vegas is going to make any sense of this when it comes to editing the footage. What I'm thinking to do is drop each tape into Vegas and then do a straight render out to a new avi to regen reliable TC and then make new tapes as masters.
Given the amount of material and this is needed in a hurry I'd rather not have to do this but unless anyone can assure me Vegas is going to cope I'm thinking better safe than sorry.
