Timelapse with stills

I know how to do timelapse with video footage by holding the CTRL key (Win) and dragging the end of the segment forward. No problem.

How can it be done with still photos? Or can it?

Trying to create a timelapse segment from HDR still photos. I've got 200 stills that have been cropped to the proper aspect ratio. I drop them on the timeline but then can't seem to figure out a way to compress the timeframe. I've tried selecting all, holding the CTRL key and dragging the end point but that doesn't work. I've tried grouping all the stills, holding the CTRL key and dragging but no luck there either.

Working with Movie Studio Platinum 9 if that matters.

Thoughts? Insights?

Thanks.

Try to group all images first.

Thanks. As I mentioned, I tried that.

Try using Import Media and checking the sequence box in the lower left. Then they will come in as a video sequence. Just select the first image in the folder, not all images. Make sure they have sequential names like pic001, pic002, etc.

Ah! That looks like it might do the trick. Thanks.

EDIT: Yeah, that works. Compresses the timeframe down automatically. Can't apply effects (e.g., zoom) to just a portion of the vid so to do that will have to separate stills into different folders but that's not a bad workaround.
