This started (along with my PTT issues) when I upgraded to V4. If I leave the cursor on the timeline, I will see the current (still) image in the preview box. If I switch my preview to the external monitor (Sony TRV30E), the image that was still, is now shaking like a candle. It's sorta like when you press Pause on the VCR and the image on the TV has a bit of the shakes.
But only when I use external preview thru the camera (which then goes to a VCR which is then output to my TV).
The image was captured via my Asus V3800 video-in card (analog port).
My setup is:
PC-
P4 2.2GHz
WinXP
512MBRam
120GB WD 8MB buffer HDD
--> Firewire to....
Sony TRV30E
--> AV cable to....
Panasonic NVFJ630 VCR
--> AV to TV
And it only happens on certain parts of the video! And those parts will shake while being PTT too. Oh yeah, one more point, the original image that's imported into VV plays fine in Windows. I've tried different Firewire ports, cables, etc.
Why is this happening on the timeline??
What possessed me to upgrade?????
