Tips on create a VCD slideshow from stills

I'm putting together a VCD slideshow using still photos. I'm looking for any tips other users have on how to do this more efficiently. I'd like to have transitions between each photo. Currently, I add the photo to the timeline then go back and add the transitions one at a time. Is there any way to add transitions to a whole group of pictures at once. I'm not trying to get too fancy here but I'd love to make this process quicker. Any thoughts?

I've heard this can only be done with Vegas. I've got both VideoFactory and Vegas, and i have to agree. It's pretty simple to
do in Vegas, and i can't find any way to do it in VideoFactory. Sorry. :(

It can definately be done - I've done it. But putting in the transitions is tedious. There must be a simpler way...

I've had the same problem JTonra.... takes alot of time... It would be nice if they added the feature and an easy way to set how long the picture would last in the time line... a defaul value so when you added a picture they were all at the value you want.

Here's a tip for resizing a group of pictures. Select all pictures by clicking on the first, then hold the shift key and click on the last. Then hit "G" to group them. You can then use the CTRL-key to stretch all the pictures as a group.

Regarding adding transitions, I agree there should be a way to add a transition to every event in the group. I just haven't found a way. The quickest method I've found is to click on each picture, then hit the numpad / key. You can do about 2 or 3 per second with practice.
