Titler Pro Problem

Glenn_G wrote on 5/20/2016, 7:25 AM
I have Tilter Pro 3 and have used successfully for over a year. Suddenly, all my existing Tilter Pro Media (and all new ones) display the Message "Error: Cant run Tilter Process. Something has blocked the plugin from Opening Tilter. Some anti virus programs may do this from time to time. Please restart your PC and try again". Neither restarting my PC or turning off my anti virus program have helped.

I'm not sure exactly when this started since its been around a month since it last worked.

Thanks

possibly false-report...
One of my other system, Win10 and Bit-Defender Anti Virus, still have TP3, but never had any of this issue..

Hi, I have exactly the same problem running only Windows 10 and Defender. I can't find any Defender settings that would apply. I'd like to fix this as it renders Titler 3 Pro useless, obviously. P.S. I've un and re installed to no joy. And if it's a false report, how do you unfalsereport it?

When I updated to Titler Pro 3 I found that it only works with the latest video/driver cards. After talking to their support, I found out that two of my computers did not have a recent enough video card/driver that they supported. Suggest that you contact their support to verify that your video card/driver is on their approved list. I wasted $$$ on the upgrade!!!

I contacted New Blue - got this response which resolved my issue

1. Reboot your computer
2. Uninstall all versions of Titler currently on your system
3. Go to C:\Program Files\NewBlueFX and make sure Titler is removed
4. Go to C:\Program Files\NewBlue and make sure the folder NewBlue Titler Pro 2.0 for Windows is removed
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\NewBlue and make sure the folder TitlerPro.ofx.bundle is removed
6. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\OFX\Plugins\NewBlueFX and make sure the folder TitlerPro2.ofx.bundle is removed
7. Re-install Titler Pro 3: www.newbluefx.com/downloads/Windows/NewBlueTitlerPro3-160330-216.exe
