if you are meaning the moving background text...never used the new titler, but with old one just add the line movng left to right on one track,,,right to left on another and simply use track motion to move them,,
Well, in PT it is possible, and I know others have NOT said it ISN'T possible, but it is trixie.
Now I must say that in its defence PT to do something like this has a truly valuable fundamental opportunity to shine - it wold do it within ONE event. The other methods, which I would employ too, means several tracks. But with PT, potentially, there is the option to apply several Text items, adjust as necessary and keep this whole fandango within one Event. But, to date I can't make the "Mute" track apply and make the one I WANT to work on be the active one. Harumpppphh?!?? The other proof of being able to introduce other text elements is that I can save one Text effect as a "Collection" and recall it. Maybe this is not the correct USE of PT?
If this IS the case the fact I CAN apply/inject several Text elements but CAN'T mute one of them, would/could imply I CAN'T use several text elements - even though I can introduce them - see?
ProType has the makings of the text plugin we wanted. I'm very hopeful it will deliver. Presently I'm having a ball with PATH and TRACKING and STROKE.
I want to know if the effect could be automated. I want this effect, but also to put it over a background video. I think I can pull it off the long way with track motion and so forth.
