wethree wrote on 9/18/2006, 2:03 PM
If you find Shuttle Pro (2) dead after installing V7 upgrade:

1) Rt. Click Shuttle Pro (2) or Shuttle Pro icon on bottom toolbar
2) Select Open Control Panel
3) in Application Setting window select Vegas 6
4) press Options button > Select Change Target Application
5) Browse to directory where you installed vegas70.exe> highlight>OK
6) Open Vegas 7>in Options>Prefs>Editing>change JKL/shuttle speed to 'Fast'
7)Rock on, thanks to Brian at http://www.contourdesign.com/shuttlepro/

Be sure to have the Vegas 7 shuttle pref-file copied to the Shuttle program folder and also loaded into the Shuttle Control panel. Works fine here.

Didn't find the V7 shuttle-pro software on the shuttle pro site. Should it be there?

Hi

I did just as Wethree wrote, and it works just fine. I didn't find any V7 presets either.

Vegas 7 Shuttle Pro .pref file comes with Vegas 7. Look in C:\ Program Files\Sony\Vegas 7\. To load the .pref file right click on the Shuttle Pro Icon in the Systray and select 'Open Control Panel'. Under the Shuttle Pro tab select 'Options'. Select 'Import Settings' and browse to C:\ Program Files\Sony\Vegas 7\ and select 'Vegas 7 Shuttle Pro.pref and click 'Open'. Your settings are loaded. DVDA, Sound Forge... all have the Shuttle Pro pref files included.

There is a new version of ShuttlePro.exe here
