My suggestion would be to call your telephone company and ask if there is a 900 number block on your line in particular. If so, you can ask to have that block removed. 900 numbers are blocked from pay phones (obviously), and also from many business locations, but work from homes that do not have this block applied.

As for alternate methods of getting support, if you have a professional level product and are within your 60 days of free support, feel free to call 608-204-7704 and they'd be happy to help you. If you are having installation or registration issues, call 1-800-577-6642, and they'll get you up and running. No paying for support if they product is not installed and registered properly. Period. Finally, you can email support@sonicfoundry.com for support on any product and the tech support team will respond promptly - most often within 24 hours or sooner these days.
