TourBox Neo editing consoles with VEGAS

alifftudm95 wrote on 10/16/2021, 10:08 AM

I don't usually recommend stuff, but this editing consoles I genuinely recommend to all vegas editors. It does work very well with the program. I've send request to them to enhance their latest firmware so that it can be used to color grade video just by using the wheels & knobs.

Neo is a another alternative while waiting (Hoping) for VEGAS Pro to support Tangent hardware like the ripple for color grading.

Thanks for sharing... interesting device.

btw, is Tourbox Neo & Tourbox the same product or different?

I searched local online market store and found Tourbox.

In 8:38 you said that your preset can be downloaded, but haven't seen a link in the YouTube description. Forgot to add?

@set Tourbox is the company, Neo is their product.

For the preset, I actually uploaded to their website but haven't approved yet. While waiting, I'm just gonna share it via drive

Really cool.

BTW windows powertoys has a interesting feature than can remap the keyboard and assing keys shotcuts to different apps, is not as cool as this but could help some.

@alifftudm95

This Tourbox Neo is quite expensive when compared to the pro looking Davinci Controller (which comes bundled with a lifetime licence for DR Studio), you also bought. How is your experience with the Davinci Controller? Can this Davinci Controller also been used for Vegas?

I got it for free for review. The resolve keyboard editor are designed to be used in the cut page, and not in the edit page. So It may require more time to learn and adapt cuz I'm not familiar with the cut page which is designed for rough cut.

The Speed editor keyboard only made for Resolve 17. Can't use it for other softwares.

@alifftudm95 OK, that's clear, thanks for the quick response. I'm also still not familiar with Resolve (still testing).
