Track FX button

I am trying the demo version of V5 (still on 4) and the track FX button does not bring up the properties. A window drops to the taskbar and I never get to the desired plugin chain. Any ideas? thanks

Think drag and drop. That's my preferred method. Be sure the various FX filters are checked under View on the top menu bar. Then find the FX tab and simply drag and drop the filter you want on either an event, a track header or the preview window.
