Track FX vs. Clips Fx

Kou3 wrote on 7/12/2023, 6:33 AM

Hi guys! I have a problem: I added some FX effects to my audio tracks (Noise Gate and Compressor) but I noticed that some clips already have had the same effects (looks like I had made them before). Is there a way to delete all clips effects and left only track ones? Or may be I can use a clip FX on a hole track (and erase track FX previously)?

The 'fx' icon on the audio tracks with FX added will be highlighted and, assuming that you don't have any other audio FX added in addition to Noise Gate and Compression, you can copy an audio event without any FX (CTRL-C) and paste over any number of highlighted selections on the audio track via R click "paste event attributes".

BTW, the Vegas Effects category is meant to be for the Vegas Effects program, a video compositing program based on HitFilm Pro that comes with Vegas POST.

It's not working for a void/null FX effect, but I added a Volume without any changing and it helped. Maybe I made something wrong and this is a reason why an effect without FX didn't work out. (Copy a track, shift and R click at clips I trying to alter and Paste Event).
