how do i put track numbers into the 1 big file ie like a live concert and it shows up as 1 2 3 4 when i play it back on my cd player any 1 help me out.
Position the cursor where you want the new track number and hit the "T" key. Voila! A new track appears. Then you can drag the marker wherever you want. You can also add track numbers while the file is playing by hitting "T".
Yes, but keep in mind that track indexes act like brackets around a section of the audio file. When you hit 'T', a track index marker is added at the point where the cursor is (the front bracket) AND ANOTHER TRACK INDEX MARKER WITH THE SAME NUMBER is added at the end of the audio file. So, you will have to drag the end bracket back to the position that you want to add the next track index and do this for each new track index you add until the last one.
Its kind of pain in the rear, but I guess its a side effect of the awesome power that CDA possesses. I, for one, am willing to put up with it.
