Oooooooo……..If only………save presets. Correct it only save the first keyframe

The other alternative is save the sequence as a veg file and nest the veg in a new comp but this segments the workflow and is not a good solution.

I have asked the powers at be for this op to be fully functional so if more folks ask we might get lucky.

Just to add,if the keyframe sequence save preset was functional it would open up doors of flexibility and speed

Imagine you have a project with a sequence …save, now months down the line,…. hey I used that intro “billybob whatever” and select that seq.
Bang ….Change to suit new project .....IF ONLY.

I think you can copy and paste the keyframes.
You can certainly do it within the one track motion timeline, you'd have to check to see if you can copy/paste it to others. I cannot imagine any reason why not.

'Correct it only save the first keyframe' - no, not only the first. You can click any key frame and save this keyframe as preset. It is a little stupid because you are saving only values of frame (not keyframe!) position, rotate etc. (relative position). And next, in another event you have to create new keyframe, select it and then use your preset.
I would like for example to make file with 2000 random positions, sizes, kinds etc. keyframes and import it to Vegas. For example for earthquake effect or matchmoving data import.

That might be a good one for the scripting guys.

I do this with some success. I have a set of Vegs where I have created multi-image track motions using generated media. I insert the Veg into my timeline, edit the Veg and add new takes to replace the generated media stubs.

It isn't difficult to imagine more elegant solutions than this.

i believe you can ctrl-click to select multiples or ctrl-a to select all.
