Does anyone know where track motion presets are stored for Vegas 13? A computer crashed but we were able to receive the data. We found the audio presets and were able to store them back. All we need is the track motion presets and import them back. We are not sure what they are stored as or what they are stored as. Any information would be appreciated!
Other than opening the original Veg, how about the BAK file too?
Track motion presets are stored in the registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sony Creative Software\Vegas Pro\13.0\Metrics\Application
Vegasaur includes a Preset Manager tool -- but I'm not familiar with it .. That might help as copying from the registry takes some know-how.
If you saved the Track Motion preset with a unique name, they should be available for selection. If not, it might get a little hairy tinkering around in the registry looking for them.
This little ditty shows the registry navigation to find a named Track Motion preset. They just might have registry names in the range S4800,etc. I'm not sure about that, but in the video you'll see where the user entered name appears.
