Nope, can't repro here.

I tried Y and the Motion blur is there, and the clip is FULL. When you say " . .it immediately chops the clip in half" what do you mean precisely? Half height, width?

Have you tried rendering out a small portion to check? What specs is your machine running on? My thoughts on this is that there is a basin full of maths going on and maybe you're not getting all the power you need?

I suppose, not a "sweet" solution, is to render out clip WITH track motion and then 3-D it? Yeah, not ideal.

What version, release and build of Vegas are you using?

As soon as I hit the Y Orientation half the frame just disapears: Arrow Up left hand half Arrow Down right hand half blanks out.......

ANY and ALL types of rotation in Motion Tracking 3D Source Alpha cause clipping of the Clip so to speak ... wa's up?

When this happened to me it was because Split Screen View had inadvertantly been enabled on the Preview screen. Verify this is clicked off.

Make sure that you are using the controls that are in 3D as opposed to just track motion. I am not sitting in front of Vegas right now, but on the left hand upper side of the track control you have a lot of selections in a drop down. Make sure it says 3D. I believe the same thing happened to me once and that is what I had to change.
