Track switching problem

Hello everyone, I have been editing some video I took from my church using Movie Studio 13.

I am using 2 cameras, a front camera and a back camera.

Basically, when the main speaker is talking it is pointed at them, when someone in the crowd is speaking I flip to a crowd view.

I put the speaker camera in track 2 and crowd camera in track 3. I use track 1 for verses etc.

The sermon goes 40+ minutes and ends up being saved to 3-4 files on each camera.

Everything seems to work fine until I get to the second file of the camera on track 2, it auto switches to track 3 and will not go back to 2. I have tried using different settings and have tried using old projects that I just wrote over and have tried several new projects.

I never had this problem back when I used Sony Vegas.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The point here the cursor is is the point it jumps to Track 3

When I loaded up the project it seemed to work right at first.

When I saved it it started doing the same thing.

Have a look at what you are doing to your Track 2 clip at the point it goes wrong. Possible problems:
- Pan/Crop which has reduced its size or taken it off screen
- An FX which is affecting it.

Plus are you playing with the Track Composite Level with Track 2 and have animation keyframes. There's no envelope shown but you may have it hidden.

Thanks for the responses and suggestions. I have already tried these solutions.

There isn't anything on the clips that would cause this and when I mute out the clip on track 3 it just goes to a black background.
