HI all
can you inset trademark and registerd symbols into scrolling text using vegas 5 ? and if so how, have a great night

insert Copyright using ALT+0169 ©
Insert Registred using ALT+0174 ®
Insert Trademark using ALT+0153 ™

These are all standard unicode, and work fine in Vegas titling or credit roll tools.

u can use the "character map" in windows to choose alternate symbols- this will depend on the font you use. from the start menu, goto accessories, system tools, depending on your menu layout. copying and pasting from here will allow you to use those symbols spot pointed out plus other ones which u may need in the future like accents, glyphs, icons, ligatures.

Or, the simplist way is to "copy" a symbol from any webpage text (like the © before Sony below on this page (I just copied it from the text)) and paste it into your text and then resize to fit (without having to remember the uni-code or doing a character map).

and thanks chaps worked fine, When i tried it i was tryingto drag the symbols across and not copy and pasting them, strange but true, thanks agian for your time, have a great day
