I cannot adjust the duration of a transition when applied to image sequences paired as stereo. When I try to move the duration "fade offset" the cursor drag moves the underlying clip rather than the transition length.
There is no way I can see in the transition properties dialog to change the duration. Simply typing a longer duration into the timeline does not take. The help file mentions no other method other than dragging the transition offset manually.
The position of the transition can be dragged, but the default 23 frame length remains unchanged.
I'm pretty sure this was an issue in earlier versions of Vegas. I think I worked around it by rendering avi clips from the image sequences, and the duration drag worked with them, but that really should not be necessary in robust software.
Is there some numerical duration adjustment that I'm missing?
