Hi Guys, I am ducking back into a project from a long time ago and really on the best way to achieve the effect in this video - centre wave close to centre, its's an overlay on top of caustics/water and has a shadow, Any ideas would be wonderful, been at this for days and cannot figure - I've attached my version, but looks shocking. Im using vegas 18, have BCC effects and Spicemaster if that helps - Many thanks for your time

@azza5570 Hi, you're nearly there, you've warped the base image, try creating a mask in a photo editor like this

I captured a pic of your vid

PS, you might be able to create the mask by adding Brightness & Contrast to the image in the middle, turning brightness up all the way so it goes white, then mute or darken the other events so they're black, use 'Save snapshot to file' to save that image,

The screen would look like this (Set Preview to Best - (Full))

You can then undo all that brightness/darkness fxs added so it's back how it was, but you now have a B/W mask.

I've had another tweek today, this is using using Video FX event pan and crop and pulling it right out, still not quite there, surely there must be an effect to do this?
