Transition Time

Is there anyway to click on a transition on the timeline between two clip and specify a new time for the transition. I don't see how to do this.

Just click on the second clip and slide it into the first clip. You will notice
the "transition" bar between the clips get wider.

That is good but can you just click on it and specify a time. I want to right click on it and set the transition for 5 sec or 10 sec. I don't want to guess at it. What is the best method to do this.

You can double-click the transition which will select the entire transition. The number in the lower right hand corner of the timeline will be the length of the transition. You can then expand the selected area to the time you desire. After expanding the selected area, expand the transition to fill that area.

ok, thnaks I thought that was the only way. i wish that you could just right clik on it and specify a time. oh well, thanks in advance
