Transitions

I am adding a fly in transition at beginning of project ahead of the title so that the title has a fly in effect. When I play it back the transition it is much faster than the sample shown that I picked from. How do I get the transition to perform at the same speed the samples show?

Create a standard fade-in at the beginning of the clip that is as long as you want the transition to be. Then drag the transition onto that fade.
