you have a clip downsized , have another clip either normal or downsized, insert push and the first clip stays some what on the screen ?

cant reproduce if thats what what you are talkin about

Its one downsized clip with a push or a slide transition.

The transition will not push or slide the clip completely off screen.
The transaction occurs with in the sized down clip.

Which effect are you using to resize the video, PAN/CROP or TRACK MOTION?

I'm useing Track Motion to resize.

If you use TRACK motion, it shrinks the active area of the frame for that track. So if you do a transition, it only happens in the active video area (which is within the shrunken image).

Try using CROP/PAN to resize your image. Now the PUSH will push it all of the way off, but you have a black area between images.
