I am running Vegas 8a on my desktop. I just tried to install Vegas Pro 8b on my laptop (which already had Vegas 7 on it). There was some glitch near the end of the installation in which it said a file
C:\Program Files\Sony Setup\Vegas Pro 8.0\vegas80_enu.msi
was not available, even though it did exist in exactly that spot.
After that, the install appeared to be complete, but when running Vegas 8 it tells me my trial has expired and to buy the program. There is no opportunity to enter a serial number. I did buy Vegas 8 legitimately. What do I do? Tried rebooting, same result. Tried un-installing, running a registry cleaner, and then re-installing. Same result.
