I had the same problem yesterday. I wanted to make sure I
was cutting exactly on a scene change without changing the
event so I opened it as a time selection in the trimmer
to "step" to the left a frame to make sure it was the right
frame. It would be helpful if the focus would change to the
Preview. I was able to see the frame change in the trimmer,
though.
