Trimmer window won't open

When ever I try to open a video in the Trimmer, the window doesn't appear. I tried it with other video files, but no Trimmer. I have Vegas Movie Studio 14 Platinum on Windows 10.

Try pressing ALT+2. That should bring the trimmer to the forefront.
If that doesn't work, try ALT D, D (View>WIndow Layouts>Default layout)
If #2 doesn't work, Try resetting the software per Cornico
