Hi all,
finally got V17 and installed the BCC film style unit package after uninstalling the existing one, as recommended.
now I get error messages in v16 when trying to load a BCC plugin FX, and in V17, most BCC are now missing.
I really need the BCC FX, especially the luma key etc. in a V16 project, and also will need them in V17, where almost none seem to have installed.
Also, where is the planar tracker from Mocha promised in the current offer?

If you bought BCC directly from BorisFX, it should work in both VP16 and VP17 as fortunately they do for me. However, if you are referring to BC Units bought as an extra with your VP purchases, the sad news is that 3rd party extras are usually licence-locked to just the version of VP that they are purchased with - so no past or future VP version compatibility. To make matters worse, the excellent BorisFX packages that come with Vegas Pro seem to not to sit comfortably with other BCC packages from other VP versions or indeed the full BCC bought directly from BorsFX as has become a common complaint with each new VP over the years on this forum.
Edit: Mocha [planar tracking] is one of the options within the FX window of most BCC FX - and it is terrific IMO - I use it a lot.

I reinstalled the v16 BCC package and license, that works now, but in V17, none of them works, neither in Hitfilm pro. What a mess!
What exactly is supposed to be present and licensed in V17? i really lost the logic and clarity of it all.
How can I keep BCC units working in v16 and the new package working ion v17?
Using Boris FX has been extremely confusing. If you have some of their plugins supplied with earlier versions of VP, and you still have that version of VP installed, and then buy a later version with Boris, you run the risk of losing that early Boris FX plugin.
I finally bought Boris FX 2020 Continuum full at a great discount price from Boris. I have a few Sapphire plugins from VP15/16 that still work in VP17.
