Trying to do a simple video tape

I'm trying to capture from plain old video tape, then edit clips together and print back to plain old video tape. When I created the project, I selected TV/VCR tape - Americas. When I capture, the aspect ratio is screwy -- taller than it is wide. I'm using an ATI radeon capture board. What am I doing wrong?

What did you use to capture your clips? ATI's MMC or Video Factory's Vidcap?

I suspect your problem is a large mismatch between your clips and your project settings (more than aspect ratio - probably a resolution problem).
