trying to import video_ts file

Hi,

I can't seem to find how to import a video of a speech filmed in Australia with an unknown camera into Vegas Studio Plat 9. On the disc I have video ts files, which break down into .vob .bup and .ifo. I can't open any of these. What do I do? I see some mention of saving them as .mpg. How do I do that? Sorry if this is too simple. Thanks, Ara

I have not played that game, however, the video_ts is the folder you will find on a DVD that contains all the files used for the show. Try renaming the .vob files to mpg and see if Vegas will let you do it that way. Take a look at this page:
http://www.videohelp.com/dvd
down near the bottom of that page is a listing of what files you will find in the VIDEO_TS folder and what they are. Also do a search on "import vob" and you should find additional information.
