Trying to output to vcr gets me nothing on tape.

I will reply to myself.
I found the vcr to be the culprit.
For some odd reason it will put out the signal but on returning it to the vcr nothing records.
So I tried another unit that is a vcr and tv in one.It records fine.
Interesting.Hmmm
