Turn off Graphical Overlay in Trimmer Window?

Hi,
I like having the graphical overlay (grid) turned on in the preview window, but do not like it on in the trimmer window. Is there a way to turn it off in the trimmer, but keep it on in the preview? The reason is, I have the preview window on a separate monitor, but the trimmer window is set much smaller, and the grid overlay makes it difficult to read.

Seems there is only one button that controls both windows.

I'm almost sure the preview and trimmer feed right off the video bus, so the answer would be no.

I don;t see any Control for this. However . . . . I have an External Monitor which will NOT show the Track Overlays. I can still see them on the Internal Preview Monitor, if I wish.

My suggestion, set up that 2nd Monitor as your External Monitor. See if that floats yer Bateau?
