turn scene detector off??

Greetings,

Is the a way to turn the scene detector off when capturing? I'd rather get one large file than 5-10 small ones when I capture. I can't find the option to turn it off only a reference that it happens automatically. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Go to Options/Preferences and click the "Capture" tab. Disable (uncheck) the "Minimum Clip Length" and the "Enable DV Scene Detection" preferences and then click "Apply" and "OK".

Thanks for the suggestion.........but I have looked over and over in the "Options/Preferences and click the "Capture" tab..." and I just don't see that option anywhere. I have looked under every heading from General to video device and I can't find anywhere to change the capture. Am I just missing it?.....I will have to see the ophthamologist if I am...........Thanks for any other directions that get me to the promised land!

Eye exam worked! I just found it.....I didn't know there were more places to look for options.........now I know!
