Wow. Editing 101 in like 4 minutes. I remember my first exercise in cutting. It was some footage of a car pulling into a parking space. I was suppose to make a nice linear sequence using the wide shot, the medium shot and the big impact closeup. But being the young rebel I was, I cut it into a flashback - jump cut - piece of art. Ummmmmmm. Those were the days.
