That is spectacular!

In one simple straightforward YT Vid I've been able to make sensible and logical that which I've learnt from my in-camera Canon XF300 Waveform Monitor. But then, Matthew Rosen goes onto explain some valuable subtleties that I've appreciated only intuitively up until now, especially his analysis of his motives and outcomes.

Wow . . . . Always learning huh?

Thank you Danny, thank you.

@ Grazie,

You are most welcome!

Yes, I am always learning. When I take breaks while editing or doing a 'hurry-up and wait' I will look for stuff like this.

Also see,

What is a Waveform Monitor and How do you Read a Waveform Monitor (Part One)

What is a Waveform Monitor and How do you Read a Waveform Monitor (Part Two)

All three videos are very helpful.

Right now I am working on a video with uneven lighting and having fun balancing it all out. I will be so glad when this 'double' project is done!

Thanks very much Danny. I've been using waveform and vector monitors since my college days many many moons ago and still learned a few things watching these tutorials.

Nice tutorial. Deserves to be embedded here.
