Say I've got a project that consists of a two-camera comedy performance. As I usually do, I lay the tight shot on the top track, and the wide shot on the second track...then I sync the two together using the audio tracks. Then I chop up the top envelope to cut between the two angles. No problem. Let's say the edit has been completed, but I notice that the chopped up top track is slightly out of sync. Oops. How would I adjust the video sync slightly WITHOUT moving the chopped envelopes?
I realize that with a 2-track edit like this it would be easiest to just tweak the solid bottom envelope to match the chopped envelope...but what if I have 5 tracks with chops all over the place?
