I have an older version of the Vegas Twixtor plugin, but it was so terrible I never actually used it. I bought it around Christmas of 2012. Is this version useable? If it is it might be worth upgrading. The old one was so awful that I gave up on it in disgust.

I hear your disgust and that the DEMO download is now the only way to make observations and find out, anything else is pure opinion. I've learnt when not to respond with an opinion.

The newer version uses GPU rendering which makes it much faster and easier to use. I have done it to do some amazing slomo and you can use it to do 60p to 24p conversion without judder though that is a bit complex in vegas.

You first stretch and slow down your 60p to 24p and render it out 2.5x longer. Then use twixtor to speed it up as a media FX. Twixtor for vegas as an event FX can only slow down and as media FX speed up if you want it to use all of the frames in your clip.

Yes, the GPU for Preview is good too.
