and an answer to my dilemma from support. I guess I'll file it away in case the issue shows it's ugly head again. Just to see if it might work...grrrr.
Not that I don't appreciate the reply, but the all the settlers were killed and the fort burned down.
I know this may seem like a dumb suggestion, but you may need to log back into your "support" account (not necessarily the same as your Forum account) and view your submission as well as any response(s) to that submission.
I have always had good luck with support -- often replies within 7 days. I cannot explain this other than wondering whether my issues were really easy to address. The sequence for me has gone something like this:
I submit a help ticket.
I get an auto-generated email acknowledging the help ticket.
About 7-10 days later I get another auto generated email telling me to log into help and view the response. This email also says if I do nothing within X days, the matter will be marked as "closed." Most of the time the response answers my question, or at least confirms that the solution is not what I wanted, which I may have known all along, i.e., HDV capture in Vegas versus using HDVsplit.
So if that second email goes to SPAM, then I might not realize that the Support folks responded.
I do apologize if my response appears to minimalize your issue with support. For reasons unknown to me, I have always had good response times from Support.
