UAD-1 to stop support for DirectX

Starting with their version 4.1 UAD-1 plugins will not be available in DX form. And unfortunately Vegas6 VST does not work - and I see NO signs of Sony's willingness to fix it. Pitty really.

Sony customer service (email) won't even respond to questions regarding their VST implementation and UAD-1 rendering.

You could always buy a DX wrapper and wrap the VST versions.

I've heard and seen some things that gives me hope about future VST compatibility for the Sony products. Fingers crossed.
