Ugly digitalnoise need help w export settings

Hey guys-

I shot a video on a DVX 100-a in 24 p. Editing was really fun and such, but now whenever I try to export anything, the movement in the video has these horrible horizontal lines all over it. The effects I added have massive pixelation...

I have been exporting at uncompressed AVI 24 frames per second.
If anyone could tell me some good export settings, I would be eternally grateful (I need to submit my film by tomorrow morning..)

It sounds like you may have exported as interlaced instead of progressive. What are the export requirements for submission? I doubt they are for uncompressed video (which is huge) and if by 24 frames per second you mean the Film setting that is probably not right either.

I would try the AVI template “NTSC DV 24p (inserting 2-3 pulldown)” or if you are delivering MPEG try the “DVD Architect 20p NTSC video stream” and turn the audio on. (unless you are submitting on DVD in which render an AC3 audio file and burn to DVD).
