Uh.. Gary

Just got off the phone w/GuitarCenter and, according to
them, the Layla is no longer made. Seems Echo has gone into
biz for themselves and no longer supplies Event. Echo has
no offering of their own yet. Is this just sales BS, or
should I persist in trying to find one (assuming that's
what I want)?

If not, I guess I'll be picking up a 2408 in the next day
or two then. What's up with all the problems I've been
seeing all these MOTU headers about? Do I really need to go
back and read every post before I go buy one, in hopes of
using it w/Vegas?

Peace,
Ray

No need to read all of the posts. The 2408 works perfectly with
VEGAS.

Oops. I had heard that about the Layla, but it slipped my mind. I'm
no sound card expert, so that's about as far as I can help you.
Sounds like Axel likes what he's using...

Agreed!

The problems that we experienced with the MOTU-2408/Vegas combination
were mostly shorts between the keyboard and the chair.

KAC...

Also keep in mind that MOTU doesn't support NT. Matter of fact, I'm
not sure what they support, technically. Ever had to call them?
