Hiyah People . .just seen a post which appears to be US based . . Okay, in the UK, who uses what and from where for DVD media? How much and where? PC World . . ? I've gotta Sony DVD RW DW-U14A,
Hi Grazie
Lynxdv.com is a good place to start. I have been using them for about 4 months now without any problems.
For re-writes I use ARITA 2x...and write once RITEK 4x both -r.
I woudnt bother looking in PC World or Office World etc as the prices are twice what you will pay over the web. Even ALDI stores are getting in on the act...
One good point about LYNX is the fact you can order in single quantities, packsof 5,10,15 or whatever YOU want.
That's my next purcahse . .my plastic is still reeling from the pc costs!
The only one I can check out on is my laptop's DVD player and the Sony. Yes . . I did see the ADSA one . .so that's a Pacific . . any good? . .I think I can stretch to that - hah!
Grazie
So good I bought two...one downstairs and one upstairs.
Up until about three months ago all electrical stuff from asda came with a three year no quibble returns or money back guarantee but was stopped due to people abusing it.....now its the bog standard 12 months.
Good quality branded media that you can print onto if you have a printer that lets you. Always worked fine in my pioneer 106.
I've heard of some people complaining about cheap unbranded media, while others say its fine, but the above at less than a pound a pop, you can not go wrong, also clients may frown upon unbranded discs.
