Ultimate S - Film Look

Does the film look REALLY convert my 29.97 DV footage to 24p footage? And how does it compare to Magic Bullet and its conversion to 24p and film looks? I just want to make sure that its true 24p before i get to excited :o)

I tried it earlier and it worked nice and it does convert it to 23.976 fps. One thing: its much FASTER than Magic Bullets could ever dream of being.

I agree it is MUCH faster. I'm watching both 29 and 24 fps clips trying to see a difference...i'm not really seeing much...might just be my eyes

We should have some additional Film Looks posted shortly. I didn't have time to complete all images due to a GUI change that took place the day before the release candidate hit the streets.
It is converting the file to a true 23.976 rate. If you are viewing the film looks on an external monitor, remember that pulldown is being removed. You'll only see the difference on a computer monitor.
Watch for a grundle of new film looks for Ultimate S. We simply didn't want them all in there just now.
You should find most of the looks being roughly 75% faster than Bullet is.

You can learn all about Ultimate S at the VASST web site. There is a 15-day fully functional trial that you can download.

Important note: when Ultimate S is rendering your clips to 24p. If you want to cancel the render, you will find that you can’t press the cancel button. You can, however, press the ESC key to cancel. Just make sure the render dialog has the focus.
