Un Nest a nested clip while preserving the cuts.

I like the idea where VEGAS save the nested sequence as new VEG file, which you can perform the edits simultaneously with 2nd or more editors.

But how do you un-nest the nested VEG file?

Here a tutorial video for Premiere Pro how to un-nest a nested media:

I do found a way how to un-nest the nested sequence just by opening the nested timeline into another VEGAS window

(2 VEGAS project running together, Master TL and Nested TL), copy the media & pasted it into Master TL, it will create new tracks & preserve the cuts. Not possible but nuisances method, and VEGAS often freeze when I do this.

STEP 1

STEP 2

I don't found any proper way to un-nest.

Maybe what VEGAS Team can do is add another command/button/Msg window when user reimport the nested sequences to be imported as full cut or as nested sequences.
