Unable to Adjst Color Curves (all greyed out) in Vegas Pro 17

Hi guys, I am learning to use the Color Curves (alt+G) function on Vegas Pro 17. However even though I can bring up that panel, I cannot change a single thing on it.

For example where the three tabs "Color Curves" "HSL" and "Look LUT" are, the "Color Curves" tab looks active ad the "RGB" box is ticked. However I am unable to deselect this, or select an of the curves "red" "green" "blue".

Any idea what could be going on? Thanks!

That Grading Panel needs to be applied to a video event and this events must be selected. Once this video event isn't selected anymore the Grading Panel applied to it won't be useable.

Thanks Marco but how do I do that? My cursor is already on the video clip... Isn't that considered selecting it?

@GFM

Left + Click on the event to select it. It's possible for the cursor to be stopped "on it", "over it" but the event not be the focus.

On it

Selected

Thanks John that is exactly what happened! I thought I had selected the event, but after looking at your pictures I realised that I had actually selected the audio track, so of course there was nothing to colour correct! Good on you mate!
