Unable to Edit Generated Media

I am unable to edit generated media. After inserting the media on the timeline the normal editing box does not open. Instead I get a keyframe editor.

It was working normally this afternoon but now the media previously inserted does the same thing as new media.. I have rebooted the system without any success..

Is there a switch somewhere to turn on the normal edit window?

Seems to be a Vegas 7 issue, I tried opening a vegas 6 file and the media generators work as they should.

Is the "keyframe editor" in fact the Gen Media Editor, but with only part of the box showing?

Try dragging edges, resizing, and dragging partitions such as the border above the keyframe timeline.

I have never had that happen before. Kind of freaked me out.
