Unable to get the full version

I have the sony vegas pro 12 that I use all the time but recently, sony vegas has been acting strange. It keeps giving me the error when I open one or more files. I decided that reinstalling it might help and I did. However, when I keyed in my serial number, the messsage says invalid but I have bought the product. Could someone please help me?

Where did you get the key from? If it was from the About Box, that's not the full license key. This is intentional so that someone usinging your computer cannot steal your key.

Go back to your account on the Sony web site and use the original license key that is in there. If that doesn't work let me know.
