Unable to open older .VF files

Does anyone else struggle with many of their older .VF (10+ years) not being able to be opened with Movie Studio 16 or newer?
I'm tryign to go re-edit some older projects, and can't even open them. Any tricks out there?

Strange. VMS16 and 17 should open old vf files. (Of course if you try Movie Studio 18 it won't open them fully because it's not a Vegas product).

Which VMS versions were the vf files created with? Can you upload one of your problem vf files to somewhere like Google Drive so we can download and try. Don't worry that we don't have the source material.
