Yeah, I can, however, it's more convenient to let Vegas handle all of it, like it does with a DVD. Thanx for the input though. Myke

Yes, it is more convenient but John Dennis is helping you troubleshoot. You don't know if the problem is Vegas, the media or the burner. By eliminating Vegas you are closer to discovering the problem.

Had the same problem a while ago. Something to do with a new coating to the disks. I solved the problem by updating the firmware to my burner. Been fine ever since.
